Screencasts and Maker Faires

One of our assignments today was to create a screencast to answer the question, “What is a Maker Faire?”. Working together, Chelsea and I used a program called educreations to create our screencast.  A screencast is basically a little movie consisting of a series of pictures with voice narration.  Educreations was a great program to use to complete this task and ended up being pretty simple to use once we got started.

Earlier in the day we played with Maker Kits and learned a little bit more about a Maker Faire.  These kits are pretty awesome and I think I enjoyed the the Makey Makey kit best.  It was exciting to be able to try these different resources.  Watch our screencast to learn more about what a Maker Faire is!
